Chef Lucia Biscaglio
In 2006, Chef Lucia Biscaglio decided to pursue her life-long appreciation for Mediterranean cuisine at the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, where she earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. While there, she also earned an Academy of Spirits & Fine Service United States Bartenders' Guild (U.S.B.G.) certification from the Southern Spirit and Wine Company.
Chef Lucia has had the good fortune to work with many well-resprected chefs in the industry. With Executive Chef Jody Williams at Morandi in New York City, Chef Lucia further honed her prep and pastry skills, created daily specials, and initiated Italian cookie offerings. Chef Lucia also worked as an Assistant Chef to celebrity chef and author Ted Allen at the Robert Mondavi Private Selection Crush in The City Tour 2007.
When Chef Lucia is not fully immersed in her culinary endeavors she enjoys spending time with her husband, six children, their significant others, and her two grandchildren. A large get together and meals comes as second nature for Chef Lucia.
